Tarryn Henry
Originally from Antigua, Tarryn Henry has dubbed Durham, NC as her US-based home since 2014. Tarryn started her career in tech supporting startup tech entrepreneurs through her work with American Underground. During her time at AU, she also served as the Google / Code2040 Diversity Coordinator for the Triangle region. Her passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tech industry led her to pursue the expansion of ImBlackInTech to NC and the establishment of T.H.E Founder Project.

Ebony Johnson
As a natural connector, Ebony is passionate about creating community and bringing talented minds together. She is the founder of Ynobe Knows Events. With over 15 years in event planning and management, Ebony created Ynobe Knows to support minority owned businesses through impactful events, increased brand awareness, and by building a positive brand reputation in the community. Ebony is a proud graduate of Shaw University in Raleigh, NC.

Quayshaun Weston
Quay understands the importance of having a strong community to create, collaborate, and celebrate with. Through years of experience with nonprofits, youth, education, and organizing, he is a strategist that loves coming up with creative solutions for engagement. Quay is the founder of the Enoch Coalition, an education, art, and tech agency designed to increase community awareness.

Tivi Jones
Tivi Jones has been a marketing communications professional since 2004, working with a wide array of brands including PBS, Boeing, Cisco, Biogen Idec and more. She’s managed marketing strategies, communications and media relations for events, expos, conferences, and gubernatorial debates. Tivi is the founder of Hey Awesome Girl, a marketing platform dedicated to supporting the growth of creative and techie women entrepreneurs of color. She now leverages her expertise in modern and measurable marketing practices to support ImBlackInTech.

Walter Jennette
While the Triangle serves as home since 2005, Walter Jennette always reflects on his small-town roots in Washington, NC. He credits that small-town upbringing as the driving force behind his creative and entrepreneurial prowess. As a founder of Feelm Studios and IT Professional by trade, Walter is excited to merge his passions with the ImBlackInTech family to increase the awareness of the brand through visual storytelling.
